This indienne fabric motif is part of our spectacular pattern dedicated to indienne floral fabrics in the Museums and Heritage Collection. It represents Marie Antoinette’s pineapple, a fabric found in the Queen’s private apartments at Versailles Palace.
Embroidered in cross-stitch over two threads of fabric using two strands of Retors du Nord, this kit is easy and enjoyable, making it perfect for beginners.
The kit contains:
- a 14 cm square of 32 count (12 threads per cm) linen fabric, colour off white
- a card of Retors du Nor embroidery thread with the ten required colours
- a cardboard disc and a piece of wadding
- a round tin (height 4 cm - Ø 7.3 cm) and a decorative multicoloured stripe sticker for the edge
- pattern chart with complete mounting instructions
Presented in a cardboard Sajou box.
