Shakespeare's Peddler - Sarah Woodham 1770
From Teresa: Sarah's sampler is so special to me, and it is the oldest one in my collection. She was only 9 when she stitched her piece, and the original has holes, has faded and sports a fair number of stains. But the sweet verse about being thankful for what she's got and her aproned girls with their hands on their hips steals the hearts of everyone who sees it.
