An Antique Sampler Reproduction, plus Huswife and Humbug 

The original sampler is quite large! When stitched on 36 or higher count linen, it will fit on a fat quarter of linen. If you prefer lower count fabric and would like to stitch a faithfully adapted but smaller version (192 x 328), there is a QR code included in the pattern to download it for free. You will also find a bonus pincushion chart there, as well as my modern English translation of Robert Burns’ original words that can be inserted into either version of the sampler.
